That doesn't mean that their dna was taken out...they were.
Same goes for Sasuke and his curse mark when Itachi took it out...the cells still remained...which is how Sasuke was able to fuse with Jugo which is why he has senjutsu which is why that's now his power.

Sasuke won't die btw...it doesn't mean sudden death if you bring back just one person.
Nagato could have lived...but he'd already used up too much chakra by having revive the pain's and fighting for a long time...and by adding the jutsu he died: ​

Sasuke doesn't have Senju DNA. The Zetsu were attached to him, not within him. For him to have the DNA, he would need to inject the varying amounts of Zetsu DNA (Senju DNA) and it needs to be intertwined within his DNA.​
