Sasuke(Part1) vs Itachi battle was a handicap battle for Sasuke?

When Sasuke went to save fodderuto from Kisame and Itachi in a rent building,the aile was narrow and there was limited spaces for Sasuke to move inorder to use his skill and speed better against Itachi.This mean Itachi could simply see the direction of Sasuke when he approach him and make a better counter for his move.

If Itachi and Sasuke were to fight out door,i am sure Sasuke would have put up a better fight on a speed, taijutsu and weaponary level against Itachi.If Itachi did use regular genjutsu on Sasuke,i sure he would have broken it easily.Tsukyomi effect on Sasuke is debateable because Kid Sasuke did broke out of Itachi tsukyomi when Itachi kill his clan.Sasuke at the uchiha massacre did not suffer much effect from tsukyomi like Kakashi (hospitalize from tsukyomi )did in the past

What you think the Sasuke vs Itachi in the apartment was plot restriction or Sasuke would have faught better in a more open environment?

Itachi was faster than base Lee and Sasuke; his taijutsu was better than both and Sasuke could keep up his speed for a little while; after the minute he get tired he would be sitting duck to whatever Itachi would like to one-shot him with.

Sasuke did not "master" weaponary, fire jutsu or taijutsu. He was decent with them; but was not a master. Mastery means having utmost skill in a certain area. He was clever for his age; but nowhere near Itachi's level. He was not immune to genjutsu either.

I like Sasuke much more than i like Itachi; but i know that back then he was nowhere near his older brother's level.
