-Naruto was thrown from a cliff in order for him to summon a toad.
-Naruto trained hard for the rasengan. His clones helped him to master it.
-Naruto was taken only to one tail against Sasuke.
-Naruto only mastered Oodaama Rasengan in two and a half years.
-Naruto trained days to learn Rasenshuriken through his clones.
-Those were other characters including Sasuke which led Naruto to use Kurama's chakra or take its form.
-Jiraiya's death and revenge on Pain led Naruto to master Sage mode similar to what happened with Sasuke to take revenge on Itachi.
-Bee's help and Kushina's requirement sufficed Naruto beating the Kyuubi with his Sage mode techniques.
-Kurama accepting Naruto gave him Bijuu mode.
