Correct me if I am wrong, but when Naruto arrived at the hidden leaf village, he didn't recognize it. This makes me believe that he had no idea Nagato had invaded and destroyed the village.

Alright, why would he keep two clones back at Mt. Myoboku gathering natural chakra if he had no use for them since he didn't know the village was under siege?

no he knew but he didnt knw pain could do such a thing, if he didnt knw then he wouldnt have had 2 reserve clones or brought back 3 giant toads and 2 toad sages with him..he knew pain's ability he didnt knw pain scale since jiraya never seen almighty push on that scale so pa couldnt relay that to naruto because he didnt knw

He knew that he had to use it in order to fight, and i dont know if you know but the messenger frog never came back to Mt.Myoboku, which off panel gave Pa a sense of danger. Just like how Kakashi finished off the swordsmen, how did he defeat them? You and i dont know.

It would of been sagemode naruto, Kakashi, and Tsunade versus pein and konan.

The village structure would be in tact though.

Why does everyone say it was plot that Nagato lost to Naruto? Inochi, Shikaku and other skilled ninja were en-route when Naruto found the tree Nagato was hiding in.
Granted, if Naruto didn't TNJ Nagato to death (Literally) Kakashi would be dead, thus, have no defense againt jewbito later in the series.

I knew the frog was killed right? But with that, does it entail such a strong arrival? Not to mention the clones.
