If you read that thread, you see there's proof that on the NV there's GUNS...

Why don't they use them on their battles? I mean, they are not like DBZ characters, for example Madara would easely die with a shot, its too fast for him to react to it...

A simple Gun > Any character on the NV, and still they don't use them.. pst..

Guns would be useless against any jonin or higher tier ninja since they move at superhuman speeds, not to mention, most characters can survive fatal stab wounds. Bullets honestly won't kill anyone.

They don't have asuma to use them fast piercing kunais. So probably thats why.
