Really? How so? If you referring to Itachi then there is PLENTY of manga information (20+ Pages) that dictate an outcome
It's all based on your own assumptions that contradict the manga 100%
@END OF DAYS. No one notices this but honestly I believe Itachi's Amaterasu burns at a faster rate than Sasukes. Don't believe me? Look at there Amaterasu feats and compare them

First off he warned Naruto before hand. If he was fighting Itachi obviously he could have used shinra tensei before hand. Nagato didn't want to fight and only defended himself when Kabuto took control which is why the flames burned him long enough to hurt him.
Secondly even if he does get coated, Amaterasu is slow burning, Karin is prime evidence of this and so is sasuke, even if he gets hit in between his 5 second cooldown there is still ample time to get the flames off.

Itachi's Amaterasu is not slow burning. I hate when people compare Itachi and Sasuke's Amaterasu. analyze both Amaterasu feats for both brothers. You will see that Itachi's Amaterasu burns at a near instant rate and Sasukes seems to burn much slower but easier to control.
Amaterasu charred Nagato and peopel forget that Amaterasu spawns on the user. How can a user shinra tensei Amaterasu before it can SPAWN on the user.

Proficient doesn't mean stronger it simply means he is better at using it and making use of it which is true. Anyways, I just made a thread regarding it. Manipulating flames and heat intensity are two different things and based on MANGA FEATS Itachi Amaterasu flames burn stronger and Sasuke Flames are more controllable

Amaterasu is overhyped by fanboys, where as Rinnegnan techs are being hyped by kishimoto himself. So yeah no doubt about it.
