Hokages?????

Why is the number of the hokages not correct?
Everyone is saying the fourth is minato (naruto's dad) but that isn't right, because the fifth is tsunade.
1st = senju
2nd = senju
3rd=MINATO he died after the fox, 16 years ago
4th= SARUTOBI cause when sarutobi died, tsunade came
5th = tsunade


so why is everyone saying the fourth is minato and the third is sarutobi??

sarutobi was the third .. he grew old .. the fourth took over the third retired..

the fourth died ... the third reclaimed his position .. the third died ... tsunade came

Sarutobi was the third hokage, but he retired and Minato took over. After he died Sarutobi just took his place again, but he kept the title of third hokage. Every hokage can only be one specific number.

Right because if one hokage had two different numbers we would have to carved in the hokage monument twice...

1st was hashirama
2nd was 1sts brother
3rd was student of above two i.e. Sarutobi
4th post was offered to J-man who rejected so Minato was hokage.

Due to kyuubi attack,Minato lost his life so 3rd came out of retirement. and died in Oro attack.​

5th was tsunade
6th is danzo temporary.

So chronology is
1,2,3,4,3,5,6...
