Exactly! And that Susanoo was not an asspull as many people think. Itachi has stated that you need MS to unlock it but that doesn't mean that you need to have MS to activate it. Being said that, once you unlock it, you eyes are no longer necessary. After all, the very first time we saw a Susanoo, Itachi hadn't activated it with his MS. Being said that, Susanoo is a manifestation of one's chakra and you only need MS to unlock it in the first place. Once you do it, you can activate it freely, eyes or not because it's created by your chakra which is still there.

Then why it is so taxing on just the eyes to begin with? Sausage went blind for overuse of Susanoo. If it didn't need the eyes then it shouldn't use the eyes as a car would use gas.

Well maybe you do spend a lot of chakra to use it and that indeed has an impact of your sight but that doesn't mean that it's necessary as well to be able to see to use it. I'm telling you, just go and check Sasuke's vs Itachi's fight, the latter didn't have them activated.

Let's worry about how Naruto is going to recover first. The guy just got a Bijuu extracted out of him; even as an Uzumaki, he's on the brink of death. I imagine that Naruto will be out of commission for a while, it's likely Sasuke's turn to take control.

Chapter 661 and onward will pave the way for Naruto vs. Sasuke. I'm expecting some major power-ups for the latter.

Merely activating it has an clear impact on the eyes just like Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu.

So you telling me once Susanoo is done burning your eyes out for no reason since it never needed it to begin with, you can keep it as a gift and instead, it will just kindly burn out your chakra like some typical jutsu?

On top of that he wasn't blind..he was "going" blind. His eyes were almost outta juice as a car is almost outta gas. Itachi was able to hit Oro pinpoint with the Totsuka blade. Lucky shot? That entire scene he still used vision. blurry but still there.

No, no it's not the way you described it, as a present. There is a reason for turning you blind and that's indeed the fact that it's a MS and therefore it can cause you to loose your sight. MS is needed to begin with by gaining access to it. That however doesn't necessarily means that you have to have them activated once you do that. That doesn't mean however that it doesn't cause you pain or that it nullifies the chance of getting blind. Being said that, even if you don't have them activated, they can still turn you blind when you use Susanoo. And that's the difference compared to the other MS attacks. You can activate it once you unlock it by having the same drawbacks but you can't use any other MS techniques without having your eyes activated. Being said that, the fact that Madara was using Susanoo, doesn't mean that he was doing it without no drawbacks. He had already lost his vision and besides, in contrast to Itachi, he had awakened EMS. Therefore, it might not even cause you any pain to begin with. As long as I remember, once Sasuke awakened it as well, he didn't have the slightest problem with using it. As for Itachi almost blind or completely blind, it doesn't matter. My point was to prove that even when MS is not activated, Susanoo can still be and the second scan you used proves exactly that.

That's BS. Yes, Naruto will indeed get a new power up but he for the time being he doesn't have KCM. He trained in order to control that power that existed insice of him, now that it disappeared, he can't reactivate till at least he gets back the other half or the half that he already had.
