do you consider him a bad guy or a good guy or a anti-hero?
-
I mean here is a run-down of him.
-
1. manipulated itachi into murdering his clan so that the fourth great ninja war could be prevented, in the process he saved countless lives.
2. ordered sai to kill sasuke, which is a good thing, because sasuke was a traitor and a rogue ninja
3. ordered him and his organization to stand down while pain attacked so that he could rule the leaf because he saw lady tsunade unfit to be hokage.
4. risked his life to defeat sasuke and tobi, sacrificing his life to keep them away from the village.
5. attempted to manipulate the 4 kage and mifune into making him the leader of the 5 great ninja nations to bring peace to the world.
-
I personnaly see him as a anti-hero, everything he did, he did in his core that it was right. I used to consider Danzo a villain mainly for choice 3. I mean he did some harsh things like instigating the uchiha clan massacre and manipulating itachi to do it, but you have to admit that he had some nobility to his actions and never once stopped trying to defend the leaf.
-
Danzo and itachi both did really harsh things, but in real life these are actions that must be done. In real life we can't just go up to our enemies and say, "terrorist, I know your pain, i was just like you when i was young, lets us make peace with eachother" we would all get shot in the face" (not taking into consideration option 3 of course)
-
idk what is your opinion on all of this?
-
do you consider danzo a anti-hero or is choice 3 enough for you to say, "he is a villain forget him!"
