with naruto, sasuke, kages, edo kages, all top tier ninjas on action why would even madara bother to attack shikamaru. I bet shikamaru would be nothing more significant than a fodder to madara. and that would be a + point to shimaru. naruto will collect blood. kurenai and shiamaru will make hidan do the ritual.

Madara's genjutsu hasn't been shown to be as strong as itachi so maybe sasuke could break him out by overriding the genjutsu

Who's putting Hidan back together? With what stitching? He could be low on chakra too since he probably hasn't eaten in who knows how long? Madara would kill have his plan done with by the time something like this gets pulled off.

saying logically he wont but in the battle with 5kages he wanted to kill Tsunade the first , based on strategy , then he killed shikamaru's and ino's father ,in order to interrupt their connection, and to reduce their morale..So if Madara tries to kill someone (during shikamaru's attack) basic on fighting strategy he will kill shikamru first ..

There's a threshold where power overrides intelligence. That threshold has long been passed. Shikamaru is smart, probably the smartest in his generation and before, But unless he planned for things to get this bad and has a counter he's inescapable of killing Madara for now. I say for now because all bad guys have weaknesses and atm everyone who aren't extremely powerful have been moved away from the fight.
