What has been illogical? What has been PNJ?

I thought he would be split in two at first as well. However, he was stated to have regeneration abilities as the juubi's jinchuuriki. If Tsunade could survive being cut in half, then it would be even more illogical for the juubi's jinchuuriki to not survive.
Tsunade was CUT in TWO. He just had chakra ripped out. A rasengan can damage his back severally, but a blade through his torso does nothing? It makes no sense however hard you try.

This statement is the problem I'm talking about. It didn't lose to the power of friendship. It lost to a senjutsu susanoo sword. It was already explained that senjutsu was what kept the susanoo sword from being negated. Furthermore, force equals mass times acceleration. If Naruto and Sasuke were accelerating more than Obito (and depending on what the masses of the swords were) then the basic physics of the concept of force as well as conservation of momentum laws would dictate that the sword of nunoboku would break. In other words, it was pure strength. Nothing more. Therefore it was not illogical. Just because friendship was mentioned does not mean that friendship was what broke the sword.

To lose the clash, I would understand, but to break the sword? Your explanation makes no sense whatsoever.

Madara's PS can slice up mountains from another country. That specific sword was created by the Juubi's malleable chakra, that same chakra whom protected Juubito from 4 Bijuu Bombs going off in a barrier. What I'm saying should indicate how defensive that stuff must be, besides, it's not a crazy assumption if you say that the Sword of Nunoboko is more powerful than the sword of Madara's PS, since it was an item owned by Rikudo himself.

Let's be realistic, it does not make any sense whatsoever, and Kishimoto isn't perfect either. This is something you, and more people, should understand.

I get what you saying but as a sword that shit was pathetic. It could have been nice terraforming tool but its not a sword.
The better question is how come 9 rasengans broke the shield. I mean WTF.

Kishimoto just made it look pathetic, both items. The shield that was made from the chakra who could block 4 Bijuu Bombs simultaneously going off with easy, was broken by a rasengan.

Yeah, those two weapons had so much hype behind and then Kishi went and said "Nope, they lose to the Rasengan/Susanoo Sword combo".It makes them look like a joke.

The shield that protected Obito from bijuu bombs was a whole sphere of it. This was just a skinny little sword. Plus, objects gain mass as they approach relativistic velocities. Naruto and Sasuke may have gained more relativistic mass.

Also, you said that Kishi is not perfect. This is true. That is all the more reason why I felt the need to make this thread. It's because people constantly bash Kishi and bash him some more about every little thing. If you don't like this thread, just know that I wouldn't do this if people weren't always constantly bashing the man. Why do I care? Well, think about this analogy:

Imagine you go to the movie theater. You are sitting in the theater enjoying your movie when suddenly, people just constantly shouting "Boo! This movie sucks! This movie is BS! Boo! Boo!". They shout this at every scene of the movie. Naturally, you'd get annoyed by this. To make matters worse, they refuse to simply leave the theater! It just really annoys you and brings you down a little.

You're making this unnecessarily complicated, as if Kishimoto would ever give such an explanation, leave that to Toriko.
Besides, you just admitted yourself that this is a flaw from Kishimoto, Plot no Jutsu.

What was the point in hyping the sword to begin with? It was not necessary if Obito was going to get defeated in such a pathetic way.
This is the cause of Plot no Jutsu, you make a character so powerful that you don't know how to finish him off. That was the case with Obito, and apparently with Madara too now as we know from Kishimoto's latest interview. He makes his characters so powerful to the point where he doesn't know a logical way to finish him off, forcing him to use some lame excuses to finish him off.

That was the case of Obito, and soon to be Madara aswell.

I bet Madara is going to get defeated in a way worse than Obito.Naruto will probaly pull some jutsu out of his as* that can kill Madara in the end.

I'm not quite sure if there can be anything worse than Obito's defeat, since Obito's defeat was Fairy Tail level.
Juubito should have been the most powerful aside from Rikudo (and perhaps her mother, but we know nothing of her) if you take all the hype from the Juubi and Rikudo into consideration.

I don't think Madara will gain a power greater than Obito, solely because Madara is way more reckless than Obito, Obito likes to talk whilst Madara likes to fight.
