Anyway wo it; i think gaara is the strongest person in this matchup and with Oro at his side his team has the alteration of landscape at their side.

But overall Akatsuki take this imo due to variety compared to team 1, but team 1 has their chances due to superior defenses and durability that makes them hard to kill and outlast.

Gaara can be taken out with Raiton, while Deidara can use C3. But Kakuzu can beat him after that one on one if needed.

Since both are physical Ninjutsu users, Kakuzu can tank almost all of their attacks if not all.​

Adding fire barely does anything considering fire barely does anything to sand, anyway's raiton of that quantity isn't doing much either, it's easily dodged or tanked with massive amounts of sand or simply evaded via sand cloud and flies away.

Either way to my understanding his sensing won't allow him to see it nor will allow him to see it's range but I guess he can feel it coming towards him or something like that.

Raiton as lightning that travels alone is damn fast. Saying that you can easily dodge it means you're about to break the sound barrier. As Raikiri activates the muscles and makes the person faster, that is why Kakashi was able to block it with his own. And as for tanking, electricity automatically dispells another.

He would pierce through that sand, leaving him vulnerable for Raiton spears and can surprise him with massive Katon that destroyed some forest.

Kakuzu > Gaara. He would be absolutely almost no match. Orochimaru with his immortality would be a problem, however with C3 and vacuum bullet from Kakuzu he can force the bombs to come at his direction.

Kakuzu doesn't even probably breathe since he's a monster, so he can even come in middle of the bombs anyway.

Team 2 with Deidara would be overkill, Kakuzu can still take on both with minor support.​

Lol? do you hear yourself? Kakuzu's raiton isnt that fast and is easily dodged. For one it is not known for sure if kakashi even has his chidori activated beforehand when he jumped in front of choji and shikamaru. All it shows is kakashi intervening before the raiton masks impact with shikamaru and choji[
