To be honest i feel like htis is oen of the toughest dicisions ill ever have to make when it comees to gaming, the fact that its £10/$15 for subscription fee on ESO and Dark souls is free and is one of the best andd hardest games this generation makes me think about what one is most likely to be better. The word going round is that ESO near the end of 2014 will be a free-to-play MMO but The gameplay is freaking awesome!! Dark souls 2 beta wass very different and added some "spice" to dark souls.

What do you guys think? Which ones going to be better?

I was in the ESO closed beta. It needs a lot of work. It's incredibly buggy and the animations are awful. There was such a lack of polish that it played like an early alpha build. And this was a couple weeks ago. Honestly, I would be surprised if it was released in 2014... a year may not be enough time to fix the game. By the way, Oblivion is my favorite game of all time, and Skyrim is probably my second. My bias is in favor of TES. That being said, I still believe ESO will be a very good game once the problems are fixed.

Shoddycast spoke to nick konkle lately and he was explaining that they are taking fan suggestions and improving it and that was at least a month or two ago so i think they have gotten a lot beta since the closed Beta. I saw the quakecon gameplay and its not that bad, are you sure it wasnt your com?? but dont you worry with any hope it shoudl be waaay better than what you and i have seen. Oblivion ive never played it but seen gameplay and it look pretty good :D

Bet your ass they're epic D:<

I was in the beta just a few weeks ago, and everyone on the server was having problems. At one point there was a bug that made it impossible to leave a conversation if initiated in first person. Also, I only played for about 6 hours and came across at least three quests that were broken. However the game was very fun when it worked, and the graphics are very good- a good bit better than Skyrim's. There's just a lot of polishing that needs to be done.
