thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water
from either a pre-existing source or expelled from
their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from
within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is
controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It
can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being
created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and
Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their
opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the
user from the dōjutsu.

Then I perform the Water Style: Starch jutsu. Stopping your movement and keeping you in place

Kakine notices as a random pedo looking man standing mid range from him releases a thick mist out of his mouth which starts to cover the area. Kakine wasting no time sends earth chakra into the ground underneath him, causing it to become really soft, like sand. This allows Kakine to dig himself underground, staying away from any surprise attacks his opponent might throw at him. While underground he can sense what's happening on the surface and locates the man's position a couple of seconds after. The boy then travels right past the pedo and rises to the surface and behind the man but still mid range from him and he throws two kunais aimed at the pedo's body, even though Kakine doesn't exactly see him, he knows where exactly the pedo is standing. After throwing both kunais Kakine stays alert.


(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

As Aoba stood in the mist created by himsef, he could feel Kakine's intent to throw 2 kunais(check my bio for further explanation). As Aoba listened, he heard a whistling sound coming towards him. He didn't know what it was so to protect himself, he formed a water shield quickly ... After doing this, the mist still covering the battle ground, He then expelled some sticky liquid from his mouth. This liquid immediately stopped Kakine's movement. He then did a jutsu and it started raining.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to
freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own
chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey →
Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain
clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During
this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked
to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a
chakra belonging to someone the existence of the
target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling
until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

As Aoba can see in the mist created by himself, he saw Kakine enters the earth, he then comes out and throw 2 kunais. As Aoba looks, he saw 2 kunais aimed at him. He quickly dipped his hand into his pocket, then throws 2 kunais to deflect the kunais... After doing this, the mist still covering the battle ground, He then expelled some sticky liquid from his mouth. This liquid immediately stopped Kakine's movement. Aoba then put electric surge in thhe starchy liquid. This is meant to electrocute Kakine
