Why do/did people think Madara has a curse mark?

I think it was that chapter when Sasuke was talking about the 3 Powers with the panel of him, Tobi, and Madara holding his neck in that scan is what gave people the idea he had curse mark Lol I thought it was stupid honestly

I think that speculation came from when Madara looked down his shirt while fighting the Kage. At about the same time, Kishi was building up Kabuto's assimilation of Orochimaru and Orochimaru's return. This all led people to think that Kabuto had put a Curse Mark on Madara.

However, since then, it has been revealed that Madara was looking at the weird Hashirama face that is on his chest. People that still think that there is a Curse Mark are mistaken.

Except this exact scene was done in the anime as well. Sasuke talking about Orochimaru's ability to survive and suddenly a scene with Madara touching his neck. So manga and anime doing the same thing probably = foreshadowing.

He does have one, that's Hashi head may not be as fancy as orochimaru's curses, but it's all the more a curse mark, hashirama can possibly be reborn now.
