I definitely felt it in this episode. Especially the mute part of the Obito flashback. I think they chose a good OST there. I have never let a tear watching anime and I still haven't, but it was close to happening at that point :p.

You're lying aren't you? I have cried at least 4 dozen times in Shippuden alone and I'm not ashamed to admit that. And if you weren't balling your eyes out during Jiraiya's last moments then I don't even........

Anyways, I agree, such a powerful and amazing story as this deserves more funding and attention. Most people aren't emotionally connected to this story and just want more violence more action less talking *sigh*. I only really care about the story though, the action is just a bonus for me.

I don't cry quickly, sometimes I wish I would but yeah :p. I felt sad with Jiraiya too, but I don't remember if I had some tears coming up.

I also prefer the story over action, though action is nice too especially when animated.

Not only are you an inconsiderate pr*ck, but you are also very stupid. Your very first words on this thread were:

That's the first thing that came to your mind after reading the OT because YOU ARE INSECURE about your beloved sh!t piece.

You can't stand anyone praising any anime besides sh!t piece, which is why you spit out that garbage on my thread.

How does anything you countered with prove that you're not a jealous sh!t piece fanboy here to downplay Naruto in every way possible?

Get out of my thread already and move the f*ck along, that's how you'll prove me wrong.

Sir, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I came to your thread, because I saw people's post on your thread, before posting my reply.:vincent:
I am still using nice words, even if I can use all those things you are using there, I am going to leave this thread as there is nothing more left in it, but before leaving want to tell you something, care about those 30 guests who are viewing this thread and stay on topic for their sake, have a good day..:bye:

Agreed, although personally I've felt like this ever since I saw all this in the manga, the chapters leading up to obito's unmasking and the few chapters after were some of my favorite's, ppl can talk about obito all they want, but the man is a badass and this manga would be garbage without him.

I disagree with the bold. We didn't even know a guy like him who orchestrated everything, even existed until episode 24 or 25 of Shippuden, and even then he was just a clumsy, under qualified Akatsuki goon. We didn't find out about his true roll until AFTER Itachi's death.

Obito is one of my favorite characters of all time, but he just made this story a lot better, his absence wouldn't have made it worse.

agreed, the next chapter after obito got unmasked is 1 of my faves, and it had no action, it was all flashbacks, ppl get too caught up in these pissing contest between characters and lose sight of the story itself, I personally liked the comparisons of Naruto and Obito and I liked the fact that not every villain has to be evil for evil sake, being evil for no damn reason is so cliche, I think kishi handled the overall concept with obito and the juubi very nicely, and the guy's dialogue is gold.

Obito is definitely one of the best characters ever in my book.

one piece sales are droping like crazy man

naruto remains the same lol

who cares about sales?

I can download the episodes. I saved all the episodes of OP than Naruto. What you say? Who's greater?
(Now don't consider that I gave opinion on the number of episodes I saved)

If I say about sales, I would say that OP got expensive compared to Naruto and hence people cannot afford OP :hint:

Obito is definitely one of the best characters ever in my book.

His dialogue is the main reason I love his character so much. He is like a sad and vindictive poet whenever he speaks, results of the horrible turn his life took after Kannabi bridge. I love the fact that he is just as influential as Naruto. A true parallel. One of them had to crack, and I was a bit sad when he did.

But he said it himself, his psychological and violent assault on Naruto was mainly to test Naruto and his own resolve.

I like the fact that Kishi showed early on that Naruto was just as vulnerable(after the Mokuton Sashiki attack) if not for all the bonds he forged with everyone, which was what Obito lacked, it was the sole cause for his defeat.

agreed, even in defeat his dialogue affects me so much more than other characters, like when he looked and saw sasuke running at him and he just utters "right...I lost." I couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy, even knowing all he had done. They guy just rocks, and is much more than just a big mass of flashy jutsu.

Take a look at this

LOL,what did you prove,my friend? Just validated my point that Naruto shits on Onepiece outside Japan,as the title clearly states SALES IN JAPAN,lol.

And when you think about it,Onepiece sold 345 million copies Globally, till this November. In contrast Naruto sold 301 million copies Gobally till FEB-2013. Search yourself,if u think I am wrong. Naruto had 67 volumes, while Onepiece got 72 or 73 volumes. You see what I am trying to say.

and just see my latest thread-

I admitted Onepiece is at top in terms of sales in JAPAN only, but no where near the popularity and Sales of Naruto outside Japan.

If we are talking about which is better then ratings should be compared not popularity since everybody knows OP aint as popular in the west cos of 4KIDS dub. Anyway this is completely off topic so lets just end it there

So true. I absolutely love Obito's dialogue and his backstory.

Sadly, most people care only about flashy fights and jutsus which can blow the planet apart...:erm:

still miles under One Piece.

Replying to a banned guy lol.

No one cares about your shit opinion if you don't like Naruto go to One Piece bay.

OP
The anime made Obito feel different than Tobi and I would of prefered a deeper voice
