Do you think Orochimaru finally surprassed Itachi?

Needs feats to suffice. I see him obtaining Ryuu-Sennin Modo down the line anyways, on top of ridiculous reserves courtesy of Hashirama's cells, Mokuton AND all his forbidden jutsu, amplified by Senjutsu, he'll be a formidable source.

Mind you, Itachi is analytically smarter than Itachi, albeit Orochimaru has the second most knowledge in all of the manga. But, with Amaterasu hitting Orochimaru, Orochimaru will be forced to use Oral Rebirth. As the new body comes out, Itachi can manipulate the flames to go to the new body. And if things get really tricky, he can always Totsuka blitz.

But if white Zetsu can use Mokuton [scans please] Orochimaru has better chances.

A true battle has never occured. Orochimaru, whenever faced with Itachi always thought of him as a small threat and never took him seriously. Which ended in his defeat... Again and again.

I think an honest to goodness battle would be fairly close. But, with Itachi ahead.

I think he just needs to attack fast enough to keep Itachi from killing him in the beginning of the fight.

Their fights never last too long because Itachi attacks with strong attacks while Orochimaru keeps talking.

This. Hypothetically he could beat him, but adding a senju body to his abilities does not stop the genjutsu trap Itachi used in their first encounter.

I need actual feats to change my opinion.

You realize it takes longer to make clones than it does to use Amaterasu? Amaterasu is one of the quickest techniques in the manga.

What did Senju DNA change??? Has anyone forgotten that this is the same guy that perfected using Hashi cells ,created Yamato, and gave Danzo his freaky arm??? Orochi probably got Hashi cells implanted a long time ago, its just now his whole body is made from them.
