If any kid were to join, imo, it should be momonosuke, he can turn into a dragon after all..
Momonosuke has the "Vivi" kind of aura around him, and so does his father, so I actually doubt he'll join the future. And Sugar can turn people into toys, and maybe much more than that, so I'm pretty interested to see her DF abilities develop.
What I'm saying is anyone that's introduced is considered a possible Straw Hat candidate & just isn't going to happen. I say the announcer guy has as much chance as Sugar because both him & her have no chance of becoming a SH.
I mean there are like 6 people in this arc right now that people keep trying to push as the next members it's just getting out of hand.
I honestly think Oda's going to surprise people again, like he did with Robin. I think the majority never expected her to join the crew, or at least I didn't, just like with Sugar right now.
You know what the crew is missing? Loli, so yes for Sugar the next StrawHat nakama.
Brook is as old as he is because of his devil fruit. Sugar is as old as she is because of her devil fruit. I personally think it would make sense if she joined the crew, just to get some variety between the characters.
The current crew needs to get stronger or more strong members, can't rely on the m3 forever, its time for "m4" or "m5".
Perona would have been a good choice, her interactions woth zoro were funny...and her DF was OP.
If you want a M4 than Bartolomeo would be a great choice.
I personally don't want there to be a M4 in the future of One Piece. I want the weaker ones in the crew to grow stronger and stronger, and prove to others that they can become incredibly strong without starting off with strength, like the M3.
She kinda reminds me of Bixy from HxH, Bixy's also in hir 40's yet she has the appearance of that of a child. ~.~
But, for some reason i am against her joining the SH. I mean like come on, Robin didn't make people toys and make them work all night long just for (as you assume) candy now did she ? o-o
So what if she's a cold hearted person? (Presuming she is) It's an amazing plot device on Oda's part. What's better than making a hated character join, one who is pretty cold, then make people love her later on after some kind of plot twist? I can imagine she doesn't really trust anyone, but starts soften up to the crew after a while, especially with Luffy. Just what I'd like to happen, I guess.

In the current arc, if anyone....i would like for bartolomeo to join, his barriers can protect the ship when bein attacked, not to mention he acts like a fangirl with luffy-sempai.
I think Luffy is going to be strong enough to take down at least two Admirals when it's close to the end of the series.

Bartolomeo does not fit the SHs, Oda will not make someone who urinates in publics and cuts off ppls fingers and tongues a SH, if he did he would have to make Barto a much ... Nicer ... Guy
I agree with you, but I don't really think it's Barto's attitude that's the problem. He just doesn't have that Strawhat aura to him.
