celestial event tonight

A friend messaged me around 1am to look out the window. I saw a full moon with a gigantic circle around it (probably its electro magnetic field or something) and the planet Venus within that circle perfectly visible.

Did anyone else notice? It's visible right now.

Well i dont think i live near close enough to view what you are seeing. But it sounds awesome. Its probably not a electromagnetic field, as the moon does not have one(or a strong one), due to its core inactivity.

Well the moon isn't out yet where I'm at, I can't find it anywhere.

Oh I found it!! I don't see venus, but I see the rings behind it kind of around the moon.

I live in Holland and Venus is at around 8 o clock with the moon as center point. Its size is about 3/4 stars in one, and no flickering.

I saw it, the moon looks gigantic and yello-ish i also saw venus. Pretty cool stuff.

the halo is probably the gravity of the moon bending light. is the sun behind the moon?
