I'd like to thank Kishi, this manga regained some of my respect recently.
It all makes sense now Madara transforming into the new Hermit of the Six Paths which is his true desire since the time he abandoned Konoha, unlike the incomplete one from tryObito.

It is a time for Naruto to drop out with his beloved borrowed power leading him thus far.
Now the only mistake that has left out is to see Minato being able to give the other half to him instead of being extracted away.

Naruto himself admitted that SM is beneath to MS, thus far he cannot win against Sasuke all alone.
We have finally going to see him facing Sasuke with his own power and strength to judge his existence as shinobi.
Perhaps his fans are even frighten now since Sasuke possess the EMS and obtained the sword of SoloKings which completely demolished the sword that created Naruto universe.

Kishi has been foreshadowing Naruto losing to Sasuke from way too long now.

2. I wonder if Kakashi can even react to Amaterasu which one shots him though.

1. knowing everything doesn't mean he wants to be it. He has only been trying to compete with his butt buddy ex-friend. same with sasuke and Naruto.
2. if it comes from a not natural way it is barrowed he had to get it from someone else that means it was not his in the first place.
