So...

We know Chibaku Tensei, a jutsu that creates a Gravitational force field.
We also know Shinra Tensei, a jutsu that creates a reverse-gravitational force field. It's the reserse version of Chibaku Tensei.

We knew about Banshou Ten'in as well... a jutsu that induces a pull attempt on a selected target.

...I was wondering what was Limbo Hengoku... and then I realized the manga didn't show any version of selective push. It's good to know that Banshou Ten'in has its own reverse version as well.

:D

So Limbo Hengoku is just a variant of Shinra Tensei? That's kinda what I figured but I'm only just noticing how Shinra Tensei is an opposite of Chibaku Tensei. I always felt like it was opposite of Bansho Tenin but this makes more sense.

it could be that it is a reverse pattern of the bansho tenin.but maybe it is just a concentrated blast of shinra tensei released on a certain area

Yes, it could be seen under that perspective as well. I'm just wondering with this thread, so comments like this are very welcomed.

In or out, side or bend, Still gravity control :I

Yes, if we were summing it all, everything is reduced to this. But this is an analysis topic, so let's keep thinking.

Thanks. I'm just wondering of course, maybe if you add something we could understand better what happened.

PS: I used to think that Shinra Tensei was also the opposite of Banshou Ten'in. I just realized Chibaku Tensei is better suited to be called 'opposite'.

Could it be possible that this could be a Amaterasu/Kamui version of ST?

Could you please elaborate? I'm not getting what you say.

(Although I'm getting the glympse of what you're trying to say... 'controlled')

Limbo Hengoku must be a far ranged Shinra Tensei that is focused on a specific area. Instead of just using some all-out gravitational barrier to push things away from the user's body he's basically pulling off a gravitational form of Amaterasu.

point taken
this is probably a most likely possibility
so pretty much its a focused shinra tensei but its opposite of its abilities
it isn't a force field around the person or massive force field expanding like pain did to destroy konoha

like I said a focused shinra tensei for an attacks

:win: ? yeah or no haha

hurts your head when you think about it, with one eye he hit 9 targets simultaneously... with enough power to slap around even bijuu's

This is a valid way to describe the work behind the technique. You may be right.

Simply put? Yes. It could be described like that, just as TurboBlaze says.

True, but he is Madara, the second awakener of the Rinnegan. It is expected for him to do these things like that.

Is a Deva path technique.

It is similar to Shinra tensei, however the point of origin is not the user itself, but any point that the rinnegan user chooses.

E.g. Bansho Tenin attracts a selected thing to the rinnegan user, whereas Chibakue tensei attracts things to the ball of gravity.

Thus whilst shinra tensei pushes everything away from the user, Limbo Hengoku pushes everything from any point in space that the user chooses and can see, thus making it similar to techniques like Kamui and Amaterasu.

In this chapter, the gravitational explosion (push) occured directly above the Sanbi, hence why it was pushed down into the ground, whilst the other Bijuu were pwned and pushed away like the toad summons vs Pain.
