[Question] Versus section threads

I think many of you guys have already observed this, but still I am going to bring it under your notice and that is, these days versus threads don't appear in 'latest threads' list.
The natural question that I want to ask here is why? Why mods removed this feature??
The direct result of this is number of versus threads is decreasing considerably and hence we have less number of debaters, as it becomes difficult to keep track of debates.So why not to bring this feature back, so that it will attract more debaters?:yeah:

Lemme Quote Ira for you:

Blame it in versus thread makers who not only keep posting same threads over and over, just to reach in the hottest thread list they kept posting same arguments over and over arguing back and forth. It's simply inane, the Versus threads were removed from the list last year on the demand of users who got tired of such antics.

One batch was so insistent to make the thread post 100th page the thread maker and his friends not only spammed the thread ridiculously, they used alts to keep it going. One had 28 posts from the same alt repeating the same line throughout the thread. And then they were crying murder all over the forum when thread was finally closed down for they were expecting award for that spamfest.
