So! Chap 160, let’s do it.
-I can already Ms. Paula is fanservice waiting to happen.
-And gonna make some predictions for the fights and matches. Luffy fights Mr. 1, Chopper plays support, Sanji fights Mr. 2, Usop and Zoro fight Mr. 4. After they’re done, each of them line up to fight Croc and Luffy finally steps up and take them out.
-Half a day? That’s sounding like bad news already, Luffy can’t fight without food and there probably aren’t any restaurants along the way.
Unless of course they start a fire and roast something.

-One thing I don’t get. If the kings palace got the most rainfall, the other cities were just maintaining and the others were dying out… why not just share some of there water?
And this is probably wrong, but if their ocean was full of salt water, why not just boil it over fires? I heard that boiling water erases all the salt.

-Gotta love Luffy’s sense of justice and selflessness. It would’ve been super easy to just ignore those dead birds and say too bad, but he ran all the way back to Chopper to get him to heal them. What a guy.

-Luffy Sanji and Zoro get stuff done.
-Love the look on that camels face, like ‘I swear to god if you get on my back…’
-Screw that camel lmao
-So is Luffy having a mirage? I know the Grand Line weather is crazy and all but I can’t image a tsunami out there.

-So I’m just gonna go ahead and predict the only logical thing any other human would predict when hearing a quote that ‘the ground is shaking’ and say it’s a earthquake.

-I like Cobras habit of karate chopping people with his hands. It’s an extremely minor detail but I like it more than the way other characters get mad as humor and punch other people.
Karate chops are cool.
-King Cobra is a really cool dude. I’ve always found father figure characters (or in specific characters who watch out and find it as a duty to protect and care for young characters/their children. Different from the ‘Knight’ type of characters who protect other girl characters for romantic purposes) in anime/manga to be the most interesting and coolest characters. Cobra, Minato and Pell (this other character from a different anime) are all awesome characters. I admire them.

-Looooooool, Gomu Gomu No Way
-Luffy is going through some serious character development here.
-Well he’s hardened up a lot over time but at least he’s keeping kids out of it. That’s good sense of morality.
-Gonna be painfully honest here and don’t care how stupid it is. I don’t know anything bout Chaka or his personality but his hair rubs me the wrong way and makes me dislike him. But that is subject to change.
-His nose isn’t anything to write home about either.
-Take that back actually just his hair I dislike.
-Why the heck does this dude look so weird? He’s taking away attention from the plot.
-Oh, I guess Karoo was there during the friendship thing. Must’ve missed it.
-Hm… the king sounds very convincing about killing Crocodile. Maybe he has a power?
-‘Weather Rods’. Can’t tell what exactly it’s supposed to be but they’re metal so it probably has something to do with thunder and lightning.

-Scenes like this are always funny to me, where a group is starting to worry about somebody causing trouble and before you know it they’re on the run again.
-And it just hit me how Luffy interacts with the crew.
Luffy and Usopp- Humor and confidence. Whenever they’re together outside of a fight they’re always acting goofy but when they’re about to fight they hype each other up
Luffy and Zoro- fighting buddies.
Luffy and Sanji- Kind of like cats and dogs. Luffy is always doing something and Sanji is always nagging on him.
Luffy and Chopper- Hasn’t really been capitalized yet but I’m going to guess a mentor and support relationship. If they ever fight together Chopper will keep looking up at Luffy fight and get stronger from that and Luffy will keep cheering him on as support and a mentor. Kind of works since he is the small fry of the group.
Luffy And Nami- Really can’t tell. I’ll have to just wait and see.
-Wow Luffy definitely not one of your brightest ideas. Draggin Marines who are after you WITH SMOKER into a battle with Crocodile? That’s like putting 2 wolfs and a bunch of pups into a cage with a rabbit.
-Splitting up was a good idea though.
-It’s happening.
-Now it looks like his smoke powers like Suigetsus sort of, and being spread out too much forces him to revert to human form.
-I have to say out of all the relationships in the manga Zoro and Tashigi’s are the most interesting. I love it because she always drags this energetic side out of him that we rarely ever see. He’s usually the Mr. Cool of the group but not with her. Odd choice I know, but hey.
-Zoro with that c-c-c-combo breaker

-Croc sure is a classic villain. Everything about this dude is evil from his design (plaid shirt, greased hair, big upper body, fur coat, scarred face), to his slick dialogue, and everything in between, and I mean that in a good way. I’d hate to get on his bad side.
-Woah. Didn’t really get a feel of the crocodiles size until now. That thing is stupid huge.
-Usopps negativity is getting annoying.
