Any time we get to a point after a few months have passed after the release of a previous title. Somebody says, Egypt or

China and it's like.... it doesn't make sense??? Every major target you kill in a game was a real person that was killed at the

same place at the same time (that would be hard to research in those places). So they have to research people that died during that major time in history. (that's just what they do)

The Knights Templar were founded during the crusades around 1100 A.D. (or something like that) so there can't be

a setting before then. There aren't really any significant events or a world changing period that happened in those times. Also

WW2 is out because then it's like Call of Duty Modern warfare (with a hidden blade).

(I keep saying this but people say "no we already played the American Revolution" but I think sooner or later a future setting will be the french revolution why?)

French Revolution: pivotal moment in history, many targets, Paris would be amazing to explore, both Revolutions were very different from one another, and it takes place between the crusades and now which would make sense.

Sorry... I get a little pissed when someone mentions india or something...

Not everything is real my dear friend, get that right! Those persons you play is all fictional, having a base from great heroes of the world or something. Not everything is real in those games.
And it would be more interesting to play in ancient china or Egypt, the surroundings is more dramatic and nicer than running in a wood.

Who says these were real people being killed? They do research on environments and customs of locals but they've never said that the targets were real.

Egypt and china would be a great place, they are major civilizations with a bunch of character and room for plot. It makes total sense. Are you really saying that italy made sense? Or a Native American running the whole american revolution? But these don't? Come on now.

You clearly need to do research on those places, there are a lot of important events that took place in both of those places which they could base a story off of. Not to mention really cool possibilities for assassins.

Your not making sense and clearly need to do research on those places, there are a lot of important events that took place in both of those places which they could recreate.

The targets were real. In most cases atleast

i'd like them to go to biblical times, something way before christ or the romans or stuff like that. would be cool to meet characters we know very little about today.

also, i'm more concered with how they are going to deal with modern day story then historical stuff. that point gets so little work but it's the most interesting because we don't know how it's going to end.

Um pretty sure the times they are doing are the best, after all they put hundreds of millions in this game series so im sure they did there damn reaserch where to put the game timeline wise. Also if you have not played AC4 go play it, they compleatly nailed the pirate game that we want(we just didnt know we wanted it) lol

I really do think a WW2 setting would be awesome! That was around the time where the Nazis were into the occult and trying to locate legendary artifacts! It'd be some Indiana Jones type shit!
