[Question] when does one piece get good

Well all the episodes are good but if you want it to get epic it's from Arlong Park arc

It got good for me in the Arlong arc which is like 30 episodes in I think but for others it took til the Enies Lobby which is 200+ episodes I think..

Not too long from now, he starts to get crew mates pretty early and there is a battle for each one. The quality REAL during the crocodile arc really goes up after that it starts to get really good

You will like it from episode 19ish to like 50. If not, like most people you'll probably get hooked at episode 91 and onwards.

arlong arc is when the story picks up but i got most interested at the alabasta arc and sabaody archipelago arc

The first episode of the anime isn't the first chapter of the manga, It is like the third episode. They also censor how Luffy got his scar under his eye. Basically the first few episodes are go to new place, beat up bad guy, get new member. Then things pick up around the Baratie arc when one of the strongest enemies in One Piece shows up. Things start getting interesting. Then it goes into the Arlong Park arc and you get a glimpse of how well Oda can put a story together. Things get better from there.

Just curious, why did you want to start watching One Piece now?

it really depends on how you feel. It does start off really crapy but it builds up. For me it was the Arlong Park arc, but the story becomes AMAZING by the water 7 arc. Up untill then it was good, but this made it for me.

I liked it from ep 1 since I was a kid 10 years ago, But now that I know the story I know how important the firsta rcs actually are

Though it starts to get intense at Arlong arc and is followed by one of my fav short arcs Logue Town as we get introduced to that person
