Anyone miss the old Naruto?

I know threads like these have been made countless times, but still..coming to the point..does anyone miss the old Naruto fights? I just re-watched Rock Lee Vs Gaara, and personally I find it one of the best in the series, because of the brilliant Taijutsu of Lee and Gaara's bloodlust. That was one fight which had raw emotion and it was what got me into Naruto. Fights now are like, spamming meteors or using OP abilities, whereas in the old days, everything was unpredictable and shinobi used actual intelligence and mainly there was Taijutsu, which I miss the most. Wish, Kishi would bring back Taijutsu and intelligence in fights and then maybe he could include the OP abilities.

Bro garra vs lee is easily one of the est fights in the anime, it was soo badass and emotional was just a really well written/animated fight

Those fight were stupid imo now you have to thee eyes,body,skill or beast to be relevant and the power scale was lame also so I like part 2 more

Yeah, Lee vs. Gaara, Sasuke vs. Gaara, Naruto vs. Sasuke etc.

But Part 2 has got it's good fights - Sasuke vs. Deidara, Sasuke vs. Danzo, Naruto vs. Pein, Naruto vs. Orochimaru and the list goes on....

It really just depends on the character for me, some characters have interesting fights and some have straight up boring ones.

It was great even in part two ! Akatsuki fights were brilliant ! but what ruined manga was the beginning of this War Arc !

I see where you coming from, it was kinda like how Dragon Ball was before DBZ came about. Anyone could beat anyone and the development wasn't bad too, the fights were technical and good to watch.

But Part 2 has that HOLY SH!T factor and the OST adds a nice feels to it (that is if you watch the anime). Overall I prefer Part II because the fights are more epic and attractive to the eye.

All the stuff that was in Part 1, the close combat, the intelligence, the tactics, it's in Part 2 as well. Part 2 has a much better plot and the character development can't even be compared between the two. The characters in Part 2 are better. The power is better, the animation is better. As a whole, Part 2 shits on Part 1.

You also have to remember in Part 1 the main characters were mostly genin who just got out the Academy so they would really have much, But as they began to progress they began to learn more and more
