I'm afraid of winning the lottery

Well besides the fact that you become a living target for kidnappers there is something more I fear.



I dont think I would be able to handle the news of winning the lottery very well. Either I become psychotic or I excite myself to death. Dont know but I really would not want to find out.

How do you think you would handle winning the lotto?

Hardly no one cares who wins the lottery unless it's some absurd amount like 400 million. Also I believe you can request to keep yourself off from the camera, and with a few name changes or moving to a new country no one would know you. I guess if I won the lottery I would still go to college or start some business that could support me. Then again most lottery winners lose their winnings from gambling or foolish investments with in a decade.

First thing that will happen when you win the lottery is that you will find out you would have some new "friends" that "helped you out" in the past and would sue to claim your money for not helping them back. Very odd, but has happened in the past. If you do happen to when, you don't need to worry about affording a lawyer and accountant to set your claims straight, "who gets what" and all that--they legally cannot accept more than what they charge normally.

what happened in my country was these 2 guys won the lottery, the next day they said there was a technicality so they never got paid out. However, the way I see it, they won, however they received threats and stuff, so probably the lottery people did that to protect them.

A friend of mine won R100 000 and it wasn't announced anywhere either...so he bought a car lol.

I would love to win the lottery. Money isn't a motivation, also happiness from that declines, so you won't turn psychotic lol. You can only be happy about something for a limited time. eg. Getting your first car. Can't be happy about getting your first car a year later can you?
