Did Itachi give Sasuke new powers before EDO had ended??

Nobody knows, but most likely he did. If he can put his own technique in his brothers eyes it should be nothing to return power to his own eyes.

It's understandable to think he did, although I don't think so. I viewed that moment as just a symbol that Itachi was done pushing his little brother away, and decided to embrace him one last time.

Even if he did give him something, it's probably a temporary power-up.

He did see Nagato's which technically ARE Madara's eyes

And, since we're talking about Itachi here, I have no doubt he knew everything all along =D

I agree. sasuke vs naruto to the death is what everyone was wanting to see. Aint no way he can just return to the village after all he did. He killed the Hokage after all. Danzo wasnt all bad, just did what had to be done

Danzo was about as bad as Madara. He continued the cycle of hatred. Lying deceiving allies as well as his own shinobi to further his own ideals. He binded all of root under his control using a cursed seal. Have you forgotten root's training methods for root shinobi or what happened to Kabuto.
DANZO IS THE REASON OROCHI GOT AWAY WITH WHAT HE WAS DOING IN THE VILLAGE FOR AS LONG AS HE DID AND HE LET ORCHESTRATED HIRUZEN'S DEMISE.

Yeah, he was worse than Madara I can't deny that, but Sasuke was under the assumption that the Uchihas were victimized because the grudge the Senjus bear against the Uchiha and that the village forced his brother into his suffering.

He felt that he, his brother, and his whole clan was victimized by the village and he blamed all of them.

Sasuke was a product of the cycle, while I don't agree with everything he did I understand it.

Good and bad are just two sides of the same coin. Sasuke is an anti-hero, passing through a phase of hero fall, and then ricing again as an anti-hero. I guess as long as he does not intent to ice the village, he will get pardon. If they were to face him, there would be too many unnecessary casualties. Maybe Naruto with the help of Kakashi and Tsunade can kill him sooner or latter (he is on par with Naruto), but why risk the lives of the civilians?

I don't think Sasuke got anything, Itachi didn't get have anything new and if he was going to give Sasuke his Susanoo weapons then he would have when he first died. Plus the Totsuka blade and Yata mirror are actual weapons, not Susanoo bound which means he needs to activate his Susanoo and physically hand Sasuke the weapons to Sasuke's Susanoo. I heard that Itachi holding Sasuke's head up to his was Itachi signifying that Sasuke has grown up and isn't little kid anymore. When they were young, Itachi also poked Sasuke's head when he blew him off and still did that before dying (the 1st time) cause he still thought of Sasuke as a kid that needed to be protected and as edo Itachi he realized that he failed to trust Sasuke in healing him, that Sasuke might have been able to change his father's and clan mind.
