The sound of leaves falling of from their trees and flowing with the wind, fills the student's ear, as Ezio appears behind him without his notice.

"So", Ezio starts, startling his student, as he takes out his sword and channels his lightening chakra into it. "Why have you come out into the woods young one."

I started looking around the training grounds hoping to see my teacher. But nothing happend, "huh, is he late?"
But suddenly a strong gust of wind reaches where I'm standing, I notice alot of leaves falling from the trees. I close my eyes and enjoy the chill breez on this summerday.

I suddenly snap out of the trance as I hear someone say "So, Why have you come out into the woods young one", while he has his lightning infused sword a few inches from my neck. But I don't lose my cool and answer him with a loud and firm voice: "Good day sir, I have come here to learn the ways of the Nara Clan. I am a very interested in "the darkness" which is living and controlling the shadows. I hope you'll accept me!"

Have you ever experienced your dear and near ones closing the door right on your face? I don't think so. Then what it's this darkness you talk about?, Ezio fires up, with his voice rising up with every question asked, as his to-be student stands physically paralysed in front of him. The words just come out of his mouth, without his consent. Why did he say that? All that the boy asked was, to help him train. Then why?

Perhaps the reason lied within Ezio's past experiences which he never shared with anyone.

I am intrigued by what Ezio is saying, let me tell you something about myself: "My parents died during the 3rd ninja war and I was left all alone, I had no one to talk to and nothing to eat. If it wasn't for my Sensei I would have ended the same way as my parents a long time! So don't give me that stuff ! I know how you're feeling right now and that's why I would like you teach me so that I can deal with these shadows that have been haunting us through our whole life."

"Sorry, you said something?" Ezio had clearly missed out on whatever the little guy said. It's not surprising, considering the fact that he always drifted off into deep space whenever the conversation started getting boring for him. He starts thinking, or atleast he pretends to, as his hand reach out to his forehead, rubbing it slowly.

Ezio turns back, and starts walking away from the boy as he asks, "Ok, tell me whatever you know about Shadows. By whatever, I mean.....anything and everything."
He suddenly looks back, takes off his hood, and folds his arm across his chest. "And depending on your answer, I will decide whether to teach you or not", Ezio states as he gives a 'you-better-say-something-useful' look.

I sit down and think intensely about my answer Zzz, I need to impress my teacher!
"Hah! I got it!"

I stand up and answer with a firm voice:
"The Nara clan, originating from Konohagakure in the Land of Fire. A clan know for its signature shadow jutsu that only they have. Intelligence also seems to be a trait of them. The Nara clan also have their own forest,as seen in the battle against Hidan. The Nara clan has a special relationship with the Akamichi clan and the Yamanaka clan. They have fought together in a formation called Ino-Shika-Cho for generations. Shika being the first part of the Nara clan male. They insert their chakra into the shadow to manipulate them.The shadow can then be used to control other ninjas actions and even strangle them. Shadows are weak against complete darkness. But it is also weak against Light. Its advantages depends on the way the darkness and light is used. f.e I could use a fire technique or a flashbomb to increase the range or speed of my shadow, making it hard to evade for my opponent."

"Now, to make the foundation stronger, we tackle different concepts one by one. Tell me, how is the shadow created? How do you effectively use light to create/destroy shadows? You can use flashbombs if you want"

As for your 2nd question:

I catch the scroll and start reading what's written on it;

• Shadows can then be used to control other ninjas actions and even strangle them (The opponent then, becomes a mirror of the user's movement and for as long as they are trapped in the shadows, the bodies move by the will of the Nara member)
• Nara members have to be extremely cautious relatively to when they will choose to attack (best time is dusk and dawn, as shadows are at their largest then).
• You can use Flashbombs to increase the range or speed of a shadow, making it hard to evade for your opponent.
• Natural shadows help the Nara members to hide or expand their ability's length and power, strength and speed.
• The Shadow jutsus are indistinguishable from natural shadows to all except the shadow users themselves.
• Shadows that are released by a Nara clan member in broad daylight will move as quickly as a ninja can sprint
• Shadow techniques that move amidst the shadows of translucent objects move as quickly as a thrown kunai can
• In darkness with a complete absence of light, Shadow jutsus cannot function
• When a Nara shadow jutsu is incomplete and a large source of light comes into play between the user and target, the advance of the shadow is slowed (B rank fire), halted (A rank Fire), or pushed back to user (S rank and Forbidden Fire)

"Lets start with your actual training."

He clears his throat as he says, "Channel your chakra into your shadows and manipulate them to move towards me. Be as descriptive as possible."

Uhm, yes sir! I'll get right to it.

I start by standing in a soldier stand, then I start focussing my chakra at my feet.
I then channel the chakra into the my shadow,causing it to slightly move at first. I then try again with more chakra ,but also with more concentration, it moves a bit faster now. I then aim it toward Flash Sempao where it then moves.The shadow moves at a decent pace while I keep my concentration. It reaches you and merges with your shadow, but Sempai just overpowers my shadow and breaks it from his shadow. "Damn that was close, I still have a lot to learn but hey it got quite far away!"

"Not bad for a first try, don't you think Sempa?!?"

Ezio stays motionless as he sees his student extending his shadow, a little bit before it stops due to lack of practice.
"Not bad at all."

"Try once again, and this time, capture my clone in your shadow possession by combining your shadow with his." With that, Ezio creates a shadow clone.

This is the basic of all shadow jutsus which is usable by everyone in the clan who knows to manipulate their shadows. The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) since it is just a shadow. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements.It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. The shadow can also be attached to people without binding them, letting the "victim" move freely. Doing that has the purpose that when the person, the shadow was attached to, makes contact with a third person, to bind the latter one with the shadow.

Making it move towards Ezio's clone, as my shadow comes in contact with your shadow, they combine and I all of a sudden have control over your movements. Ezio takes a deep breath as he gives out his next instructions. "Once you have him under control, manipulate the shadows to create a shadow hand that creeps up over his body to strangle him."

Once you have used the Shadow Immitation Jutsu, you cannot use any elemental technique while the jutsu is active, which is one of its biggest disadvantages.To make up for that, the members of the Nara Clan reply on Shadow Neck Bind.
It is possible to inflict direct damage to the enemy by transforming and moving shadows endowed with physical power.It is possible to attack body parts like fingers and such by turning the shadow slender and to bind the opponent's body in order to restrain them.The user can also use it on himself as shown by Shikamaru who used this technique on himself to break his finger, using the pain to escape from Tayuya's genjutsu. Remember this requires no handseal.

- Can you create a shadow clone on beforehand and after binding your opponent with shadow Imitation have him create an elemental attack?
- Is there a way to hurt your opponent without hurting yourself?

The shadow imitation requires you to perform the rat handseal and maintain it till it connects with the opponent's shadow. And once you have connected, you need a good chakra control to keep it maintained and hence you cannot perform any jutsu while the shadow jutsus are active.
You can however create clones before performing the jutsu, to aid you.

You dont hurt yourself o_o I said you can hurt yourself if you want to (to get out of genjutsu)
