I am one of the people willing to go get off the Hashi wood for a moment and realize the obvious: Madara was toying with Hashirama and Tobirama the entire time. Since getting resurrected, even in his Edo form, he was capable of easily curbstomping anyone on the battlefield. Flashbacks indicated that Madara trolled the Go-kage hard and Madara now claims he is not all that impressed with Hashirama's level of senjutsu chakra.

It's likely Hashirama is about to have his ET overwritten by Orochimaru, who is working with Madara. Sasuke is going to turn on the alliance and be all like "Yeah Naruto, sorry but I want to kill the TBs too". Remember his 'burn it down' comment?

Hashirama is dead, the only one who can die is Madara. Yeah, Madara owned Hashi for sure, but did you forget the only reason he could was because he incorporated HASHIRAMA DNA into his body and stole HASHIRAMA SENJU POWERS.

a madara who was just recently rejuvenated defeated a worn down hashirama who just fought edo madara 5 seconds prior.

hashirama already restrained madara with the wood dragon and drained all of his chakra.
