When Hashi impaled Madara with his sword (ch. 626; also, my favorite Madara battle moment because he is nearly killed), why didn't he just kill him when he had the chance? Other then the obvious "We wouldn't have these type of plot twists" and the possible "I won't kill out of cold blood/kill a defenseless person", I don't know why he didn't.
