Amateratsu is not needed to defeat Sasori, just saying. Even phoenix sage fire nail crimson would be capable of defeating Sasori as Sasori will not avoid such an attack on foot, seeing as how Bee's only option was to use partial biju transformation.

Lol I didn't say Itachi would launch it just like that. I am not making walls of text that are irrelevant to the topic here, but with the usage of Kage Bunshins, Satetsu is useless as it can't be controlled precisely from two directions at the same time. Let us not act as if Satetsu is as mobile and manipulatable as Gaara's sand now shall we... Anyways, Bee being close isn't implying anything. Itachi closes that distance in the blink of an eye creates Karasu Bunshins that aren't even noticed by Sasori, and uses his own jutsu's. Let alone the fact Itachi is in another whole league when it comes to intelligence, speed, anticipation, and just about every other thing else you can think of bar poison. Don't get me wrong, Sasori is my bitch, but he stands no chance against the likes of Itachi.
