I think there's a reason that the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and Tailed Beast Mode has a Hagoromo appearance to them that is similar to why Juubito resembled an evil Hagoromo.
The reason is that maybe these 3 modes actually are Sage's chakra itself. That is, a portion of the Sage.
From ch. 656:
467:
Obito says Hagoromo used the last of his strength to separate the Juubi into the Bijuu and Kurama says that Obito being paralyzed from all 9 bijuu being extracted at the same time is what happened to Hagoromo.
Since Hagoromo sealed the Juubi inside his own body, when he used the Chibaku Tensei to trap the Juubi and create the moon, I'd say some of Hagoromo's chakra stayed with the Juubi. This could explain the evil Rikudou appearance of Obito.
The same goes for Naruto and Minato's aforementioned forms because a portion of Hagoromo's chakra was in each of the bijuu.
Question about ch. 594: The part where Kurama says the Juubi goes by many names and explaining its strength, Kurama says calls the Juubi an "it" but the Crunchyroll translation of Shippuden episode 341 calls it a "he" (17:50+ minutes in). For those that have seen the raws of 594, is the character say "it" or "he"?
