There seems to be quite a bit of ret con here. But what'd you expect after 'obito'? There's so many inconsistences with obi to that this pales in comparison.

This was some of that bullshit. 10/10 chapter again though. Madara slowly restoring this manga.

Madara getting pwned by Bijuu...
Hashirama got jabbed by the black rods...

Tobi was Obito...
Madara let his plan go to shit just so he can take Hashirama's Sm and lose...
Obito was beaten just like Nagato...

IT was Stated that you need both eyes to UNLOCK susano but maybe once IT has been unlocked you are free to activate IT whenever you want to. Its like a box you need keys to open IT but once IT has been opened you can throw away the keys but still open the box.

Awakening susanoo is something and being able to use it is something else

i will make a full explanaition thread abt it later but here's the summary : MS awakens susannoo , which is the materialization of the user's chakra in the shap of a warrior, so knowing how to use susanoo is done with the ms , but after awakening it you can use susanoo even if you're blind. ( itachi's case )

in sasuke's case we remember that when he started to become blind susanno went off but actually it wasn't out of blidness but out of tire, the proof : he activated susanoo with the "eye bands on his eyes" ( < that's yodawg there :') lol )

Maybe he still had some kinda link with the zetsu that linked to him for rinne tensei.

Because the black part is madara's will or something right? And he connected himself to the rinnengan part of obito and was still there last time we checked.

He should not have been able to use it without his eyes though i wouldnt be surprised if it turns out he did. But that's all i can think of.

Hashirama's SM increases regeneration to an almost instant rate, all Madara had to do was reconnect the parts and let the gap be closed.

There are no inconsistencies, Madara may not match Juubito in raw power, but he's far, far more skilled.
