i dont think gaara needs shukaku;s help. he proved he can do what i always said he could do, and use sand inside an opponents body. thus he can put it in their throat and suffocate them.
madara casually broke shukakus seal, but needed a clone to avoid gaara's. gaara was always the one to give madara the most trouble
