That wasn't the Rinnegan Obito was using.

Since the zetsu that showed up was a white one, I think it came from stealing the other Rinnegan that was in Nagato's dead body. Obito was only using the left eye, and now Madara has the right one. That wasn't the Rinnegan that Obito currently has in his body, although that one will soon become Madara's again as well.

Of course. He said that was the right Rinnegan, Obito still has the left.

I'm pretty sure we all knew that. Obito was using the left eye and the right eye was back at base. I'm trying to figure out if that is the original white Zetsu because Sasuke was thought to have killed him with Amateratsu.

It's not, the original white zetsu had half it's face deformed from splitting with black zetsu
