Obito can't kamui something on his back. He was forced to used izanagi...As said by konan to kamui anything he has to become solid. then would be burnt from the flames...Later whenn obito came out he had no burn marks what so ever

It depends on the user as well. Well i bet he activated the izanagi asap when he saw sasuke's sharingan changing.. Also remember, the side he got burnt was also the side implanted with hashirama's dna.. that can be another plot as well..

If he had time to activate it before being hit then he would have had time to phase threw it, he shown to have great reaction speed to avoid hits. Plus his shirt would still be burnt by the time he activated the Izanagi, if he started to warp the Amaterasu right has he was stepping back into the darkness then that could be how he did it fast enough to not get damaged.

Ok lets just agree he used izanagi ASAP and changed his T-Shirt. Plausible? i think so =D

he already been hit so it have to be izanagi.If he use kamui then his clothes would show burn mark (which we have not seen)

Izanagi doesn't replace prior damages so his shirt would still be burnt unless he used Izanagi before being hit by Amaterasu but if he hand time to activate Izanagi then he had time to activate Kamui which he actually shown to use right before being hit.

Izanagi and izanami are Uchiha kin jutsus, Donzo hadto use hand sings cause he was not an uchiha, Neither did obito nor did itachi use hand signs to perform this jutsu and you also know that very well...

Amaterasu is instant ability, kamui cant react to that w/o prior awareness. Uchihas dont use hand seals for eyes techs. Danzo is no uchiha.

I always thought it was Izanagi. After all, we knew of his Kamui before, and the way Obito talked about that "secret, that Itachi didn't know", it seemed to be something new, which we hadn't seen up to that point - which holds true with Izanagi.

Also, if it would be Kamui, why didn't Kishi blatantly show Obito warp the flames away? It wouldn't give away anything, since everyone (Sasuke as well as the reader) knew about it. Why make OBito retreat in the shadows to use something we know?

Furthermore, Obito uses Kamui all the time. I'm pretty sure Itachi knew about. Izanagi is much more secret and rarely used because of it's high cost, so chnaces are much, miuch higher Itachi wasn't aware of that.
