This thread is going to be a compilation in a little extra depth. The threads had holes when seperate , however : together the theories seem to be more sturdy.

P1: The Admiral name
The Admirals are all very cleverly named by Goda. He assigns them a Colour (which is related to the devil fruit powers they have (if they have a devil fruit) but can also be related Psychologically), and an Animal (which can also be related Psychologially ).

The animals are all from the tale of Momotarō:

As you can see there's one colour yet to be given to an Admiral... ORANGE!
Blue:
Kuzan was the calmest of the Admirals and also the most harmonious of the original three at Marineford.
Red:
Sakazuki was the most energetic of the admirals , his stamina and endurance is astonishing , he much like his devil fruit had a very spontaneous personality.
Yellow:
Borsalino was humorous, notice the word "lightness", he also seems to be very logical in comparison to Sakazuki whom tried to kill Luffy while the entire base was being destroyed by Blackbeard.
Violet:
We haven't seen much of Isshou , but so far he seems to be intuitive, his powers appear to be Gravity , he may be able to meditate and genuinely float.
Green:
We haven't seen Ryokugyu but I guess he will be a man who joined the marines for the sake of world peace.
Orange:
Coby is very productive as he is always trying to improve to attain his goal and is very enthusiastic and optimistic, at Marineford we saw a very emotional boy whom was brave enough to stand up to Akainu.

If that wasn't enough:

We now know that the next admiral will named with a colour and have the Assigned animal of a Crab and the colour Orange.

Who matches the Orange Psychology? Coby.
What colour matches the Mera Mera no Mi? Orange.

Why should Coby get the fruit?
1- He needs to get stronger faster , otherwise he may not reach Admiral rank until EOS. Which Shouldn't happen as there are people like Smoker whom are commonly regarded as potential future admirals. Coby logically going by the tale of Momotaro will be the next Admiral.

2- He would remind Luffy of Ace and therefore be difficult to fight ; a tough enemy is a good enemy. Because Yonkou are above the Admirals it would make a fight much fairer between the two.

3- Smoker and Luffy are just like Garp and Roger due to the numerous times they've fought and almost killed eachother. This leaves Coby to resemble someone else... Sengoku. Who went "way back" with Whitebeard. Law can be regarded by many as the next Whitebeard of the Worst Generation. Being in the same place as this fruit ; is only foreshadowing that the user will encounter the Straw Hats and Law many times. Coby.

4- Luffy wouldn't just let anybody have the fruit. He likes Coby.EDIT:

The boy who stood up to him (in his eyes : betrayed him) now holds the power of the legend he killed and the bloodline he ended. It's possible that Coby defeats Sakuzaki after he is provoked to a fight : he then replaces him as the fleet Admiral (further resemblance to Sengoku)

6- #5 would then become a major plot twist. Luffy and Coby would finally fight all out to a massive scale! (With Zoro + Sanji and someone else (possibly Bon Kurei or Jinbe) fighting Ryokugyu,Kizaru and Fujitora)

You've skipped out on the most important part of this theory: How the WG gets a hold of the Mera Mera no mi. You've also failed to see that Helmeppo has been diligently training under Garp as well. He should be just as much an option.

I'm not certain how Coby translates to Crab. As for the orange psychology depending on where you look they say different things about it. The Mera Mera no Mi is also red in colour IIRC.

You've also ignored te fact that Garp could keep the Mera Mera (if WG even gets it) as a keepsake of his grandson. Makes sense to me.

1. Coby's dream is to become an Admiral, yes. However, this doesn't mean that he would become one by EoS. He could become one offscreen after EoS. This is a shounen manga after all. There also needs to be a vacancy which might not be there EoS unless an Admiral dies or steps down. Neither of which has been hinted in the slightest. Based on your color theme you seem to think that Kizaru will be the one to leave. He'll eventually become an Admiral, no doubt, but I'm just saying that it isn't unreasonable to assume that it won't happen by EoS.

2. The Yonkou slightly >= the Admirals. They are relatively equal in hype, but the Admirals have portrayal. The other Yonkou have been said to battle WB for territory and have been portrayed to not be all that far in strength from WB. This is what we saw in the Admirals since Sakazuki was able to hold his own against WB and he and Kuzan are pretty much equal in strength. Coby doesn't need to have a DF to be a tough opponent for Luffy. He'll likely be a brawler with exceptional Haki like his mentor Garp.

3. Okay, Law is there, but where is Coby's relevance in this arc? He hasn't even been mentioned, has he? If he were a candidate for it he'd have at least been mentioned by name in this arc. Sabo showing up has probably decimated what ever chance Coby had of getting the fruit. Oda has pretty much told us himself that Sabo will be the next MMnM user with this latest chapter. I also don't know about Coby being the next Sengoku. Not as soon as EoS IMO. Even if he got the Mera Mera it wouldn't put him on the same level as Smoker and definitely not Law, who probably will be the next WB.

4. He likes Bellamy too but would he be alright with him getting the fruit? We could nme tons of characters that Luffy likes. I think that it boils down to any of his crew mates, Garp and Sabo as for who he'd actually let have it. Plus, according to your theory he doesn't have a say anyway.

5. I don't think that you know just how much stronger Sakazuki is to Coby. Sakazuki >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Coby regardless. There's no way he'd take him down.

6. M3 will each take an Admiral. Obviously Luffy will take Akainu, but Coby probably won't be on Admiral level by EoS. Think about it. If another war breaks out between SHs + allies and WG Luffy would most likely fight Sakazuki. If not then there's Smoker. I doubt that Coby will be able to stand with those two by EoS. It's simply illogical, MMnM or not.

I'm not saying that it isn't a decent theory. You've obviously out a lot of thought into it. However, there are a lot more things to consider and it is definitely not a flawless theory. No EoS theory could possibly be flawless this early in the story.
