[Question] Just started watching Fairy Tail.... is it childish?

Okay so I'm on episode 4 now and my question is.... is it worth watching further? Because if it keeps being this childish I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy it.. U_U

Is there any blood when characters fight? Do people even die in Fairy Tail?

Fairy Tail is horrible, i dropped it after 40+ episodes...nobody dies, everything is happy go lucky. I suggest you drop it and search for something else, it's not worth it U_U

People die but rarely. As for blood, the manga has it the anime doesn't.

But get used to Deus Ex Machina fights.

Yes, that's it. Fairy Tail has the most horrible friendship concept out of all shounen manga/anime...too much crying, hope and power of friendship for me U_U

It's actually quite good, manga is in absolutely no way childish. I don't recommend OP, it's pretty damn boring and it's all talk.

well to me in dub.. it kinda pisses me off but sub it's legit ..... overall to me i like .... the fights are awesome .... just don't watch it in dub trust me happy and Lucy's voice are annoying AF!!

No fairytail never changes truly, it stays silly to it's core. There are explosive fights and such but if your looking for an serious anime this isn't the one. The only way to enjoy fairytail is just to not take it serious-at all.

Very few characters die in fairytail- I think maybe 10 currently.
