That's sort of impossible... Considering we have fossil records of homo sapiens in other parts of the world, such as Europe, nearly ten thousand years prior. It's actually one of the possible reasons why Neanderthals went extinct. Over competition by modern man.

But mordern man is an evolved form of a Neanderthals, there are like 6 stages I think, human evolution is relatively slow.

The species split off much longer than 30,000 years. I won't comment there, because I'm not sure the exact date. But the first bones that were found from Homo Sapiens are actually closer to 195,000 years old. Just did an extra search and they were originally thought to be too early at 150,000 years old(
