Just finished FMA:B for the second time.

I am convinced that this is the greatest anime in existence. The ending is just...... so perfect, I cried many manly tears during the end credits. If you have not seen this show, watch it right now, like stop reading this thread and go watch it.

What are your thoughts? Is this the best anime ever?

I think it is an amazing anime, but whether it is the best ever depends on preferences. For one thing, I thought the comic relief was sometimes a bit too ridiculous. However I still think it is one of the greatest of all time.

Like what? I love lot of anime for many reasons, but I have to give credit to this one for just being the best. The whole story was planned from episode 1 and everything just came together so perfectly at the end. Every character got their story, there were no plotholes, and the end fight sequences were amazing. What anime are better written than this one? Whatever they are I need to watch them right now.

I actually don't read the manga but I do love the anime. And I can't say that it's better than FMA:B since it hasn't finished yet. Endings can make or break a story.

You haven't seen nearly enough anime if you think it is even remotely close to the best. It's the most overrated of all time, that's for sure. Every shonen*** who sees it proclaims that it's the next best thing after nutella.

6/10. Gets bonus points for having a bit better story than most of the battle shonen. Other than that, it was a little above average at best.

Seriously? Overrated? I agree it isn't the best but it's far better than most shounen manga.
