Your opinion on Athiests and religious people

This morning I went on this website called 'disclosure.tv' and I saw this title called 'Religion does more than just hurt people- it kills people'( So does cancer, stds, over-processed foods,pollution, and other diseases/illnesses)


Heres the thing...the whole 'religion hurts/kills people' argument is TIRED. I use to argue about this all the time online. I went from an ignorant christian who was constantly defending something I had very minuscule information about(Out of fear that what the athiests were saying was true), to a...i don't know what the hell i was...but then I was arguing against the Christians(out of anger and how what the intelligible Christians were saying may having correlation with recent events) Here's how I feel now about the whole thing...

If you are TRULY secure about what you believe in...why argue?Why start conflict? Truth will reveal itself...wait patiently.

Both Christians and atheists have two things in common...their arrogance...and their closed-mindedness. In my opinion.

So the question is...what's your opinion on religious people and athiests.(I'm not asking for an opinon on their belief or non-belief, but their general character.

I think religion can help a lot of people, can give people the boost they need to get through life. I see no problem with it. Athiests are also people at their own stage of development, which helps them through life. Which I also see no problem with.

The problem arises when people are trying to force their views on others, and thinking they're superior to others. Which both groups do.

For me, i believe in God, and do follow a religion, i find that religion, any religion, gives you purpose, and a reason to live, but it all goes down to how you view things in life.

Its all choices, so be it religious, or atheist, i dont judge, choose your preference, whatever makes you happy
