Juubi destroyed an entire village which therefore clarifies his hype However, the host was a simple minded fool with a selfish goal and fluctuating feelings which was his downfall.

I think the juubi's dissapointment is merely a decoy for something bigger

It's failure is because plot all of the attacks should have killed important people but it didnt. It powered up and made a nuke its bijuu bomb was crazy in size andno one died its because plot and kishi being a punk when it comes to killing off important or relevant characters. They get sob redemption stories that they don't need during the fight turn good then kill themselves no one out right gets straight up killed. Excluding asuma and jiraiya they died ok I suppose but j mans death was stupid he could've lived to fight again. Neijis was completely random he wasnt relevant for almost 200 chapters and suddenly gets screen time and dies for no reason Doton users don't pi a shield over their ace in the hole naruto because?

The Juubi will re-emerge (Kishi's latest interview implies this) from the Fruit of the Shinju, remember that Fukasaku is 800 years old and he thought RS was a myth, so it stands to reason that 200 years prior to his birth the Kaguya,Hagoromo and Juubi scenario occur because the Fruit emerges every Millennia (Fukasaku's Age + 200 years = 1000 years) so the time is ripe for it to re-emerge.
