In either case Hiruzun has done nothing but skip the battle action as far as possible. Even being old, he could had tried some attacking moves on Obito or Madara but He is such a scared *****cat , just like in the Kyubi attack on Konoha

As I sad before, it was either seal himself and die, or simply die by Orochimaru's blade. He managed to seal them because Orochimaru revived them in a weaker state. Sorry, I forgot Narutobase is a Grammar school. Does not matter if they were weaker. Hiruzen was in a worse condition during the fight and still beat 2 limitless Chakra gods.

But did you not realize Orochimaru was toying around until the FINAL moment when Hiruzen used RDS. Had Orochimaru been serious from the start he would have jumped in the fight instead of watching the Kage go at it.
The point for Orochimaru was to make Hiruzen suffer before killing him, otherwise, he would've simply killed Hiruzen when he was caught in Bringer of Darkness instead of just knocking him around.

While i do think Sarutobi is very strong, and underrated, i don't see him being stronger then the First, Second or Fourth Hokages xd. There's just too many variables, and we know nothing of his prime. However strength isn't all there is to being a strong shinobi, Hiruzen has shown keen intellect, VERY high understanding of shinobi combat, + he has the most experience of any of the hokage so who knows... All i know is that he is very underrated, but i try to not overrate him too much without more feats
