i dont know about how others feel, but for me, killing akatsuki members way too early is the worst thing kishi did!!
its okay to beat them but KILLING is the 'silly thing'..
i dont want to say this, but the best thing in onepiece is that, the enemies are many..
i mean luffy never kills his opponent..he only beat them..
currently in Naruto shippuuden, there is only ONE enemy..and in One piece..........................
So, i believe that if Akatsuki was still 'alive'(u know what i mean, right xD) Naruto Shippuuden would be better than now!!

people might hate me, but currently 'Naruto series' s**ks!!! the reason is simple...ONLY ONE ENEMY AGAINST THE WHOLE SHINOBI ALLIED FORCE(with legendary edo's)
and if orochimaru, karin, juugo, sasuke etc..were to be enemies, still compared to the shinobi allied force,.... ???
one piece watchers will know the difference between this 'naruto war' and the 'execution of ace' war..

Naruto's story and One Piece story cannot be compared. They're two totally different stories.


It's best he killed them off. After a while, villains kind of lose their spark if they stay too long.
Example: Team Rocket from Pokemon. They're still chasing Ash and trying to steal his Pikachu. Shit got lame after the first season.

You do realise the story is at its climax? For all we know when One Piece comes to an end there will be only one villain as well. But then again we have Madara, but Obito, Orichimaru and Sasuke are all wild cards right now.

Akatsuki had so much potential but Kishi didn't do them justice , their pasts could have been explored and they could have 1 or 2 more fights .

yeah i know there will be only one villain, bro!! but i bet only luffy will fight the final opponent..the whole mugiwara ichimi wont fight him one-on-one..

I think he missed a chance to finish it off properly, because they had a great build up. I was with it until he ruined Pain's character. Other than that they served their purpose. Kishi messed up not having the Sound Nation start another war and making Pain go soft.
