actually kuro was wrong chakra transfer isnt a ability its a ninjutsu medics learn it hence why sakura knows it and taijutsu is jutsu, so is fuuinjutsu , senjutsu , dojutsu ,kenjutsu and bukijutsu. jutsu simply means technique and depending on which it falls into one of the three basic category nin , tai and gen.

kenjutsu, senjutsu, fuinjutsu ,doujutsu and bikijutsu not belong to any base form of jutsu.

OP, I disagree. Naruto has what it takes to be hokage. He has improved, matured, and gained a lot of knowledge since the beginning of the war.

The number of jutsu a ninja possesses has nothing to do with whether they can become hokage. Beside Naruto has more than just 3 jutsu and that not including his variations. Everybody needs to understand that the terms jutsu/ability/technique/skill are all interchangeable in this manga and can mean the same thing. A jutsu can be anything from a spin kick to creating a sword from fire or even absorbing a person's chakra.

Also Kishi doesn't name all of the justu in the manga. When Sasuke added lightning to his sword using the lightning flow jutsu it received a fancy name, chidori katana, yet Kishi has never named Killer Be's lightning flow jutsu.

Naruto's jutsu
-Shadow clone jutsu
-transformation jutsu
-Rasengan: this includes all his pure chakra rasengans
-Wind jutsu: this includes all his wind related jutsu (an all range wind jutsu ,FRS, is very different from a close range pure chakra jutsu, rasengan,)
-Weapon summoning jutsu
-Body flicker jutsu
-Toad summoning jutsu
-Reverse summoning jutsu: this is the S/T jutsu Naruto use a scroll to summon his clones
-Sealing jutsu: this is the 9 tails seal on Naruto's stomach. He knows how to use and manipulate the seal
-Chakra transfer justu
-Genjutsu defensive skills
-Sage mode
-taijutsu/frog fu: taijutsu stlye that uses natural energy (invisible) attack and enhance prediction ability
-chakra/evil intent sense ability
-Chakra/beast mode: this includes chakra armor
-chakra claw
-beast ball jutsu
-shockwave/9 tail roar jutsu

Hollow statement. The proclamation of his induction into the "hall" of the Hokage's is something he's proclaimed since the beginning of the series. Further testament to the futility of your statement -> [ ]. Kishimoto directly indicates that on top of the immense possibility that it would happen regardless, the seamless transition in to being Hokage would be complemented by Shikamaru as his adviser, solving the "idiotic" (quite an erroneous and fallacious statement) conundrum that people believe Naruto suffers from.

Lmfao you are under the delusion that your opinion on Naruto matters

People in NV already accept Naruto as their leader and that is all that matters

Also you are missing my point. lets say we existed in the naruto universe. are you gonna trust 16 year old with your government. If you do you're beyond stupid. Naruto when hes fifty even 25-30 could be kage not a 16 year old. Naruto, after the battle need to learn how to live maybe get with hinata or something not lead a country

How much older is Gaara than Naruto? I presume it can't be by that much, certainly not between 25-30 (I would say younger, maybe 18-19 at most)...I think what's happening here is that there's this tendency to use our real world logic and socially acceptable behavior, and apply it to a universe of ninja fantasy. I say separate the two. If one is gonna be critical, do it from the standards of that universe, not ours. That is not to say that one should not use logic, on the contrary. Use it, but within the proper context.

I will start out with the belief that there's more to being Hokage than knowing tons of jutsu's. For example, the talent of charismata. From early on, Kakashi and others have stated that Naruto has this unspoken ability to motivate others through his inspiration and/or will (remember the Great Naruto bridge?). If that wasn't convincing enough then what about the "hearts" Naruto has changed thru TNJ? It is not a coincidence. In more recent evidence, Gaara made the motivational speech that kept the Ninja alliance from falling apart. Also, charisma was exemplified when the 5 Kages finally showed up to the main battlefield and rejuvenated the Ninja Alliance's morale by just their presence and leadership. Naruto has displayed this component of being Hokage by the charisma he brings, similarly to how the other Hokages have been shown to have as well. They were all able to accomplish this in the Naruto universe because its people recognize something, a trait, a characteristic, a strength, worth following, and thus where chosen to lead.

Which brings me to my other major point: Recognition. Starting from the First, he literally created the current Ninja village system (with Madara's help ofc). The Fifth created the incorporation of medical ninjas in squads. The Third was know as the "professor." Naurto's dad was known for his genius intellect, and specially his incredible speed; similar to the Second. If it wasn't for Tsunade--a legendary Sanin--Kakashi, because of his famous Copy Cat sharingan, would of been Hokage. All the Hokages were accomplished people, despite of their personal flaws. As for Naruto, a jiinjikuri, practically solo'd Pain, thus saving his village from total destruction. And in case it escaped noticed Naruto became his village's Hero since then; they finally recognize his worth. And now, with this war, the whole Ninja world knows who Naruto is, who's currently in the front lines fighting in par with the likes of Leaf's former Hokages, partnering up with Kurama (an unheard feat beforehand), and holding his ground against the actual Madara, a legend by its own right. In short, Naruto is upfront and center, and everyone knows it.

Now, in our real world there are many arguable traits that makes a great leader. Among many of them, to name a few, are: visionary; courage; intelligence (battlefield and otherwise); inspiration & motivation; Strength (in all its different forms); Will; and honor. Lets apply these characteristics to the Hokage traits in the Narutoverse, and I ask you: do you see a connection? (doesn't mean you have to agree, but at least see the connection). If not, I rest my case because then I have failed to communicate effectively my perspective on Naruto. But if so, then think about its significance for the kids who are reading this Manga. Think about it.

If I'm not mistaken, your criticism of Naruto being too young to lead is from his lack of real world understanding. In other words, he lacks wisdom and maturity. I disagree with that. For starters Naruto understand how to connect with people better than most, which is due from his lonely and ostracized upbringing and the pain from those experiences serves greatly for compassion for others (another quality in leadership). He also traveled and was taught by none other than Jairaya, a womanizing legendary Sanin. Need I say more on that. The latest, however, is his development in his overcoming of his own insecurities, hatred, and other people's nature.

I could go on. But I'll leave it at this.

I know its long. I just hope you at least see things a little differently. Great leaders are wise enough to know when to be firm and when to compromise; to understand without arrogance, and conquer through submission. So, enough about jutsu's. Narrow focus on that alone is being legalistic. The bigger picture are the qualities of being Hokage, a leader, and whether Naruto fits them. I say yes, he will become Hokage.

Gaara is either 10 months older than Naruto or 2 months younger, depending on birth year

You miss the chapter when shikamaru is about to die? When everybody and their family worship naruto as their hokage and shikamaru as his advisor? You also miss the chapter where jiraiya said the number of jutsu doesn't make a shinobi? And even with those three justu (which is more) he has risen to top 5. He is the best support and top 2 most versatile ninja. You are only counting the jutsu you are not counting the abilities.

Naruto will NEVER! be hokage because He only knows 3 jutsu don't give me all the variations of them

In the end Naruto only knows rasengan, shadow clone and transformation

Not hating cause i love the character but lets be real besides the above stated handicap he also lacks the Intelligence on top of that. (not saying he's stupid just i wouldn't trust him as a government leader)

Heck Danzo was a better candidate

Now Naruto can, in his age when he's like Jiraiya's age I'm sure he could but unknown right now cause he'd be so much more wise.

Rasengan, Multi-Shadow clone jutsu, Summoning jutsu, Chakra transfer jutsu, Shinshun (with KM/BM), tbb, FRS, the sealing jutsu that control his seal.

Now for the Variations, each variation is still a different jutsu, do they do the same damage? take the same amount of chakra? Take the same amount of chakra control? No. You said how wood jutsu is a chakra nature that you can create jutsu from but the rasengan is made from chakra which you use to make jutsus.

Also it's not about the number of jutsus you possess that defines the shinobi, it's how you use that jutsu.

Well ill just give something to close the thread. Tsunade is a hokage and she has no offensive jutsu. Boom mind=blown. She did decent politically but if you're going to tear down naruto tear down all the hokage. Tsunade was a drunk, gambling addict, and technically a rogue ninja(she hadn't lived in konoha for decades and she poisoned jiraiya so for a few hours she could be considered rogue.) the village was flattened under her watch as well. Minato practically did nothing as a kage aside from save them from his own student and was also killed by him. Hiruzen allowed danzo to wipeout their police force and his student partially destroyed konoha and killed him. Tobirama was a necromancer he exiled the uchiha and died by trying to solo the kinkaku bros and 20 squads. Hashirama was an airhead and gave ultimate power( the bijuu) away like candy and died by unknown means. EDIT so what's the worst naruto can do?

(First bold) Umm.. If I recall correctly, Minato was killed by the Reaper Death Seal, Not Obito. #Getyofactsstraight

(second bold) Hashirama "gave" Bijuu away like candy"? No, Hashirama Gave the Bijuu as a way to make peace, and to even the power among the countries. That was an impressive political move by Hashirama. What exactly would Obito have done if he were to become hokage? Slaughter the entire village? Place a Genjutsu over the entire planet? Seriously, before you insult Hokage, or any Kage for that matter, place Obito on their level.

You don't have to know loads of jutsus to be hokage. At least you don't have to know how to use them, knowledge on them is probably needed on some extent.

just because he knows"3 techniques" Now doesnt mean he cant learn more later. (btw, he can use more than just variations of 3 techniques.)

Even if he never learns to use any other techniques, he still qualifies for hokage.

Hokage qualities. Massive will of fire(careing about the village very deeply etc). And be among the top ninja of the village in power(go ahead give me a list of leaf ninja(alive) that are stronger than naruto.

The only POSSIBLE thing holding him back, would be immaturity(or lack of experiance) with this war, he has matured alot, and is gaining some experiance.
