Introduction: Madara is in need of new eyes. His ultimate goal is to get the power of the Rinnegan from Obito and the Power of the EMS from Sasuke. However these will not be easy to take. Obito is protected by Minato and Kakashi and Sasuke is a powerful ninja who will be protected by Naruto Naruto. While Madara is winning now, I can't see him defeating the Hokage and Gokage and Naruto and Sasuke and capturing the Bijuu without any eyes. It would be extremely impractical to go after them while blind. Therefore he may first settle for other eyes.

I read somewhere that Kishimoto stated in an interview that there will be development in the Hyuga clan in 2013. I cannot find a link for this but for now I will go under the assumption that it is true.

I think Madara will go after Hinata's byakugan because they are the easiest target. The only two Main Branch members on the battlefield are Hinata and Hiashi, but I believe he will target Hinata. If he were to take her eyes, it would be easier for him to go after the Rinnegan and EMS.

Furthermore, there are many theories about the connection to the Byakugan and the Rinnegan/Sharingan. If Madara goes after Hinata's byakugan, the byakugan might change and become more powerful when Madara has it. We will learn the origins of the Hyuga clan and its connection to SO6P and the Uchiha.

Tons of people would disagree.
But if this happens, it would really showcase the Hyuuga and the Byakugan's origin.

Neji dying might have been their development lol. Seriously though, I think there's a chance for this. Kishi is closing the plot holes and loose ends.

That clan was hyped up way back in part 1 and their genius is dead. I could see that happening or her playing a part. For the past year Kishi has been reaching back to part 1 and closing loose ends up. Likely case is he goes for her eyes and gets her fathers.

1 problem: If he's in the process of getting his eyes back from Obito then why would he want an inferior set of eyes?
