After he had external help escaping hashirama's beating. He also literally took all of hashirama's powers in order to do so.

I could assume many things to counter this, such that Madara could have controlled Hashirama via the black rods before the torri seal (shown before it was shown Madara was sealed) but it was off panel so I can't prove anything definitely. From Madara's dialogue and actions in the recent chapter, I can infer that Madara was just stalling Hashirama until Naruto took down Obito but it's uncertain.

anyways how can he be blind if he has EMS, doesn't that grant the user infinite sharingan uses? I thought you couldn't go blind from using EMS.

Well.....imho he was stronger even before that. During their fight Madara says that he can fight for real because of nao having blood, heart, etc. Which means he was apathetic and bored. When he broke the gates his power was the same...he just decided to fight for real due to being excited about having an alive body.

He was just fighting to fight, but not for real. Though...I believe Madara to be stronger....it all depends on Kishi, but imho currently Madara is by far the strongest.

When madara died, he had no eyes, Thus when rinnie tensei revives a person, it revives them in their state of death.
