That sasukes sole objective is to make naruto as strong as possible .
i also beleive sasuke treats naruto like itachi treated him. (cruel to be kind)
and that the final fight between naruto and sasuke will be to see if naruto has what it takes
to protect the village.

i dont think he wants anyone to know that he's testing naruto. i think he believes naruto will help the uchiha clan restore itself , and also he knows that naruto understands that his clan were treated unjustly
