Question about Madara's Rod-No-Jutsu

Please explain me how this works.
I think madara used it before also on obito but i thought that it was somehow related to black zetsu.
Since this worked on hashirama also so i am kinda confused.

And here he made some handsigns. This suggests it is a kuchiyose no jutsu. With this jutsu he completely immobilized hashirama.

Can a smart member explain me how this works?? I mean certainly there has to be some conditions for this jutsu to execute or something ?

Those rods are "Madara's will" and are "Chakra receivers". He probably has a jutsu that absorbs chakra though them, and sends it back to him ( as they are Receivers. )

His blood just strengthens the justu, I believe. Or maybe it requires his blood, the way the Gedo Mazo used them to take "Life force" from Nagato.

I don't think so. I believe the rods are passive, and immobilized hashi regardless, and the hand signs were pushing chakra to his feet for the ultra-shunshin he did. The bite and blood was just him fanboying over his mortal body once again.

This jutsu is not related to any chakra absorption.
Madara absorbed amaterasu which sasuke used on him and after speed blitzing many fodders he absorbed their chakra as well (including kyuubi chakra) .

One thing i am sure about this jutsu is once it is executed, it completely binds the victim (both obito and hashirama got bind by it)
This is very OP and i doubt madara can just perform the handsigns and use it on anyone as he pleases. There has to be something involved.

No he did both.
He absorbed amaterasu which was on his body and he also throw away his armor.

Madara Cut his Arm so that the Senjutsu he Absorbs from Hashirama can sink into his body as for the chakra absorbtion he got it from hashirama the chakra he is absorbing is the kyuubis chakra and one of the properties of mokuton is that it can absorb chakra so now that he has sage mode he can easily absorb bijuu chakra

Because they are his will, anything that comes on contact with it will have Madara's chakra running through them. The sign he made is simply Madara's chakra immobilising Hashirama.

well this makes sense but then the question arises how did madara implanted those rods on hashirama so easily and why didn't he do it earlier ?

Rods work both ways, you can transmit chakra to or receive from. You can also used rinnegan techs through them as nagato did with pain bodies.

If you read closely, Madara said use them when performing the six path Justus.

Those black rods on Hashirama's back was used to immobilize him and use preta path to absorb his senju chakra.

And then blitzes towards Hashirama (so that Hashirama won't dodge, hence used the rods)
Absorbs Hashirama's Senjutsu (because he also has Hashirama's Senju DNA)
His wound gets healed (proves that he can use Hashirama's borrowed Senjutsu chakra plus he checked the quality of the chakra)

It's the same absorption jutsu Yoroi used. Other notable users of the jutsu are Jirobo, Kisame, and Oro. But so far, Madara's is the most advanced version of the jutsu we've seen as he can use it with every inch of his body on faster rate.
